Cookie Decorating

As part of our Christmas festivities, I decided to do a little Christmas cookie decorating with the students. Last week I brought in all my Christmas cookie cutters and invited each student to choose the two they wanted to decorate. I made the list with each child's choices and baked the cookies last night. Today I set up a table at the front of the room with icing and sprinkles and invited each student to come up to decorate their cookies in groups of four. I was really happy to see many of the students really took their time to decorate and did not just smother their cookie in icing.
