Hanging Bats

Today is the school's Halloween Dance-a-thon so I thought it would be fun to do a Halloween craft after they dance. The craft is bats. The body is made from a toilet paper roll which they got to paint blank. When that I dry, the students traced and cut the winds and ears and glued them as well as the googly eyes onto the body. They then brought me their bats and I made two hole punches and attached the pip cleaner legs which I folded into feet before hand. Lastly they use a silver Sharpe to draw on the mouth to finish him off. Here are our bats hanging in our classroom
