Autumn Scavenger Hunt

With the start of fall I decided it could be a fun idea to take the students on a nature walk to the park across the road. To make the walk a little more exciting and interactive I made up these scavenger hunt sheet, divided the students into pairs and gave them paper bags to collect their scavenger hunt items.

The students really had fun wandering the park looking for their items and all of them were found! The students helped each other out a lot when they found something that was not on their sheet and they were all interested in seeing everything! Not just what was on their list. As an Platinum Eco school, we were also able to use this activity towards our Eco Initiative. Here are some pictures of things we found on our hunt:
